Online poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many variations on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the bank instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little conniving or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer declares "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other gamblers attain 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the bank’s 1st card, you have to either make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s amount is on same level to your original bet, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the face off. If the house does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a sum in accordance with the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The bank pays out money equal to your bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
