Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the wild west in an excellent game for beginning level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the croupier, unlike nearly all other poker games that gamblers play with other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not need to fret about any other, more experienced players winning their mulla.

An additional Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game pace, newcomers can take their time and strategize while not needing to make frenzied selections.

It’s also easier to participate in for a long time with just a tiny amount of money seeing as, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt 7 cards face up and the house is dealt seven cards faces hidden.

One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
