Howard Lederer grew up in a family of 5 in which he loved betting on various card games when he was young. He made some extra money by becoming an runner for the poker enthusiasts. He believed he could better his game by balancing his life outside of poker. He brought about an effort to acquire more rest and concentrate more on poker.
