Online poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the first poker game have been created, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with 21 than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the dealer instead of each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the other players receive five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call wager’s value is equal to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantaneously to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with a sum equal to the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The casino pays cash even with your bet and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:

  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
