Internet poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years many types on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to twenty-one than long-standing poker, in that the players bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up before the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course every one of the different gamblers receive five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you must either make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s value is on same level to your original ante, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes immediately to the house. After the wager is the showdown. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, including an amount on par with the initial bet. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The house pays money even with your bet and controlled odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
