Double-hand Poker is a current game with ancient origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the western in a great game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the house, not like almost all other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By betting against the dealer, beginning players do not need to be concerned about other, more experienced players taking their mulla.
A further Pai Gow advantage is the relatively slow game play, novices will be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make frenzied selections.
It’s also simpler to gamble on for a very long time with just a small amount of money seeing as, to not win, each of your hands must be under both of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the house is given 7 cards face down.
A five card hand and one 2 card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
