Online poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many variants on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier broadcasting "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire 5 cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s first card, you have to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your beginning wager, meaning that the stakes will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantly to the dealer. After the wager comes the showdown. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus an amount equal to the ante. If the bank does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The casino pays out chips even with your ante and controlled expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
